Book Club 57: Old Filth

This month we’re reading Old Filth by Jane Gardam.

This novel follows judge Sir Edward Feathers as he reckons with his own history and that of the 20th century: from his childhood in Malaya and early days as a lawyer in Southeast Asia, where he earned the nickname Old Filth (Failed In London, Try Hong Kong), all the way to his return to England towards the end of the millennium.
