This month we’re reading Matrix by Lauren Groff.
The book follows Marie de France, a woman from a long line of female warriors and crusaders, as she is sent to Angleterre to take up her new duty as the prioress of an impoverished abbey. Marie begins her work establishing a female utopia in this ‘modern masterpiece’ with a medieval setting.
