Sleeping Well in Chaotic Times event with Dr Nerina Ramlakhan

The way you sleep has a profound impact on how you feel the next day, your health and energy levels, and the way you perform at work and life in general.  Doctor, author and sleep expert Nerina Ramlakhan will give an overview of this fascinating subject and will offer you practical solutions for getting a good night’s sleep, feeling more rested and waking up feeling revitalised and looking forward to the day ahead.

  • Why is sleep so important?  How good/bad sleep affects you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
  • Debunking the sleep myths and unhelpful beliefs about sleep that are actually stopping you from sleeping

  • An introduction to the physiology of sleep, circadian rhythms, and energy recovery.
  • Understanding your nervous system and sleep – we sleep deeply when we feel safe
  • Sleep and neurodivergence
  • An introduction to her Unique Sleep Methodology including The Optimal Sleep Toolkit: Practical techniques for optimising sleep quality and energy levels including taster meditations to help you fall asleep and get back to sleep including my favourite technique called The Perfect Bedtime Story

About Nerina:

Kingston local Nerina has been helping people from all walks of life to thrive, sleep more deeply and live more meaningful lives for almost 30 years.  She has worked with professional clients such as the United Nations, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Deloitte, and Chelsea FC, as well as hospital and emergency workers, and spent over 10 years working at The Nightingale Psychiatric Clinic in Marylebone. She has published four books on the subject, including bestseller Tired but Wired.
